I love this editorial featuring Meghan Collison in Vogue Russia titled Manhattan Express that was shot by Paul Wetherell. The red accents, the menswear inspired outfits, a dash of pleats and lace for femininity and those floppy hats! Sadly I can’t carry off these floppy hats thanks to my teeny-tiny head but I most certainly admire them on others.
Now, feast your eyes! (WARNING: Some pics are NSFW!)
I enjoy I Pick Pretty and Forever 29‘s What to Wear Where editions and I was a little upset with myself for not being able to partake in the Travel Outfit and the Date Night edition. I had taken pics for the Travel Outfit edition but forgot my laptop at home the night before I left for New York, as I stayed over at G’s since his apartment is closer to the airport. He was very sweet to return to my room to pick up my laptop but comically, he couldn’t find it as he was looking for it in the wrong bag! (no, I don’t have THAT many bags!)
Anyway, I’m back to blogging with an outfit for this week’s Arts Night Out edition hosted by Pancakes & Beet Juice. Here’s an outfit I’d wear to an Arts Night Out, be it to the art gallery, museum or theater…
I originally thought about pairing the outfit with my Cole Haan Violet Air Oxford booties here but decided to go with the tall boots instead for a more casual look. What do you think? Booties or tall boots?
After much anticipation of the Rodarte for Target collection, I went to pick up the two dresses that were available at the Target Pop-up Store here in Georgetown this morning. Sad to say, I will be returning both the dresses. I love the lace bow slip shift with tulle dress but the color makes the details too glaring emphasizing how flat I am on the bust. Hah! As for the black lace halter dress, its so pretty and this is my favorite type of halter but I feel the waist hangs a tad high for me. I am still pondering about it for now. Below are pics:

Wanna chime in and help me decide on the black lace halter, pretty pls?
