Some days I can’t help but be a little matchy-matchy in my outfits. With the Spring-like weather, a scarf isn’t needed with my turtleneck top but I wanted to interject some colors to my otherwise boring outfit. The bright blue scarf was the perfect antidote to match the other shades of blues in my outfit!
Thanks to your lovely input to this post, I have decided to keep the ZARA Wool Dress and have returned the skirt. I wore it out for a date night with G and kept it simple by doubling the wool scarf as a shawl when indoors to keep my shoulders warm. My outfit attracted some attention, as we had a visitor while G was taking my outfit shots!
Since I’ve been making an effort to blog about my outfits, I have been trying to be more creative and wearing everything in my wardrobe instead of sticking with the tried and true. The navy shirt is an example. I can’t remember the last time I wore it prior to today and I’m leaning of sending it to the donation pile since it isn’t a flattering fit. What do you think?
This dress is very similar to the H&M burgundy dress I recently bought but it is made of 100% silk, has a slightly longer hem and has pockets! I love pockets for dresses and that along with the orange and brown print to spice up the navy makes it one of my work dress staples.
